Default power programmers

i've got a 2008 Sivlerado 4.8L V8 and i want toget the Edge performance programmer mainly for the "economy" side of it to save some gas do you really get much of a diffrence in fuel consumption? also ifwhen you put it on the "Extreme" Setting if you can feel the power diffrence or if you can feel it at all?i was jsut wondering if anyone has ever had or have a power programmer for a gas engine and what they found with it.

Thanks Chris

I agree so far (since its my first and only custom tune) GO WITH NELSON"S ...you can always keep your original pcm. the only bad thing would be if it threw a crank shaft relearn code and there is no way around it other than the dealer doing the procedure. instant warrenty death.

everyone i have heard from said as far as programmers go the Diablo predator is the best out there. ive personally owned the hypertech PP3 and the max energy and i wish i would have just shot myself in the foot. they sucked.

good luck with your decision.

He wants to go economical though? Can you get a tuner to do that? Wouldn't you just get a put put mobile? What fun is that?
