Yeah I got an idea of what to do now. The engine needs to be cool to do this right? I ask this because last night when I put on my tbs, I unhooked the coolant line on the driver's side and coolant shot out of the hoses.

Well on the left side of the TB (throttle body) is a kind of small black hose that comes from the left side of the radiator. On the other side of the TB is a hose that is the same diameter but much shorter in length. Remove the shorter hose completely. Take the longer hose off the TB and connect it to were the shorter hose went. You will have to re rout the hose a little but it should reach. You can get vacuum line caps at a parts store to cap off the TB. Now if you have electric fans the longer hose might be different but I dont really think they are.

Thanks man I think I can handle that. I don't have electric fans. I should be able to do this without much problem.

With the coolant bypass, you don't really notice a difference in the summer, but in the winter my truck was a little more touchy on the pedal on colder days. Not a huge difference but it was there.

No you wont notice any thing but the clder the air the better. I think if you had a intake temp. gage you would see a difference.

Yeaqh it could have been touchier just because of the cold air alone, but either way i don't need a heated TB anytime of the year.
