Default Rear end sags on the drivers side

I have a 2004 Single cab short bed Silverado. I started noticing that the rear end sags on the drivers side about 2.5 inches lower than the passengers side. Does anyone have experience with a similar situation to this? I am hesistant to rush down to the dealer as I am afraid to hear major damage has occured. Any input is appreciated.

probably from a broken leaf. crawl under and check it out.
do you do any heavy hauling? it shouldn't break under normal conditions.

been under it for a minute or two and didnt notice any straps or leafs broken. I just drove across counrty from Texas to California with about 600 pounds of gear in the back. But never done any towing. I will take another look underneath and its possible that I missed something. That was my first inclination that one of the springs broke loose. Thanks for the input.

Mine does it too. It's very slight, though. I think it's to compensate for chassis flex. I'm talking about 1/2 inch. If it's MUCH more than that, dunno...

You might have had a bad spring which just failed or sagged. If nothing is broken or loose, maybe try taking off rear springs and compare for the arch. Also see if you have the same amount of leafs in each pack, maybe someone screwed up and put wrong set inor removed a leaf. Never seen this in your situation, but this is where I would start.
