My 2000 GMC Sierra had it's rear view mirror fall off. I see there is a permanent black coating on the glass where the mirror button mounts to the glass. Is there a specific adhesive made to reattach the button to this spot on the glass? Thank you

 

Auto parts stores carry an adhesive just for attaching the mirror to the glass. I don't think the black coating makes any difference.

 

Like TMW says.. There is a kit just for that purpose
