HEAT!!!!
I used a heat gun. Get the emblems hot and gently pry them off. then keep the glue warm and roll it off with your finger tips. DON'T USE YOUR NAILS! It will scratch the paint. Then use a good bug and tar remover with a micro fiber cloth as not to scratchto get off the residue. Then finish off with your favorite wax or polish.
