rotors
i ave a 1995 gmc serria with disc brakes on the front and drums on the back. i need to replace the rotors in the front but should i put new pads while i am at it to. Should i do anything to the drum brakes or just leave them for now. thank you
Personally I would do the rotors and pads while you have it apart. Why not right? As far as the drums go, make sure your shoes aren't cracked, no hotspots, and makes sure there is a good amount of "the pad" left. Make sure there is no brake fluid, broken springs or missing parts. (Compare the two sides, make sure they match). If all is good and your e brake works ok, then just put the drums back on and leave em go.
