Fuzz2316,
I apologize for your frustration. I have spoke with our Technical department and replacing the bumpers is the appropriate course of action for the dealer. If you continue to experience issues please feel free to contact Customer Assistance Center. Then number is located in the owner’s manual. Please feel free to contact me back as well.

Smile Rust on 2010 GMC Sierra Chrome Bumper

Dealership contacted me on Monday 02/28/11. Parts are in stock. Appoinment scheduled at MY convenience ( Tuesday 03/08/11). I am dropping off vehicle prior evening; loaner car available. By far the best dealership with which I have ever dealt. Thank you Kelly GMC.

Default Rusting again!!!!!!!

Had the front bumper replaced on our 2010 GMC Sierra end of Jan of this year... n/c to us.. now here we are March 6th 2011 and it is RUSTING AGAIN... even worse this time... now it is on the grill and around the GMC logo!!!! With a brand new truck in my opinion having to make arrangements what apears is going to be every 2 months to get the bumper replaced is NOT A SUITABLE solution. If I wanted a rusted out truck I would have kept my 1999 Dodge!!!!!!!

As well, can not open the hood as it appears the cable assembly is shot... we buy a new truck to have NO problems and yet all we are having are ISSUES.

A life long GM fan is certainly thinking of other companies in the future... even crossed my mind to hand back the keys to this truck as it seems like a nightmare rather than an enjoyable ride!!

I'm sorry to hear that about this concern! Have you spoken to anyone at GM Customer Service other than Christina?

Default Gm bumper rust

The front bumper on my 2010 GMC Sierra is rusted back bumper showing tiny spots that wipe off with cleaner. The dealer where I purchased the truck is replacing it after the second visit. Service manager first said from not regular cleaning and waxing which is crap. The bumpers are junk.
