RE: Silverado Racing
Yeah, it's nice to smoke a ricer in a lifted truck. I used to have a 68' bronco (the old box style) with a 351 windsor. It was fast as hell. I could be a mustang easily till I hit 85 and ran out of gear. Gas milage sucked though, 10 in town , 8 if lucky on the highway. Got hit head on by a jetta gong about 60, they peeled the car off of it and I drove home with a little fender wrinkle.

What I have never understood is why the biggest people buy the smallest cars. I have had to remove more huge (and I mean huge) people from little cars in wrecks than I have ever cared to. I guess the payment on a normal size car just eats into their food bill too much.

I had one fat *** that was claiming she couldn't move after a minor wreck that didn't even knock the dirt off the car that hit hers bumper. I told her that there was no way i could get her out and I was going to have to cut the roof off her new car and get a crane to lift her out. All of a sudden she poped out of there like double Ds from a tube top.

Silverado's are definitely tough, I took a sentra to my frontright at around 20 and still drive to work until I can get a new bumper air dam and re-alignment. The sentra is more than likely crushed by now.

My lifting buddy got t-boned in his 02' GMC dumptruck by a 05' Silverado and him, his buddy and the lady driving the pickup all walked away from it. He was stopped and she was going at least 45-50mph. No brakes just boom! He said it damn near ripped the dumptruck in half and destroyed the front of the Silverado, but everyone was ok.
