Default Strange strange miss after pulling crank sensor and cleaning it

so after pulling the crank sensor to check it out and clean it the tuck has a dead miss and the door locks lock on their own which has NEVER happened before I find it hard to belive that the door locks and the crank sensor are tied together.......possible wiring problem at crank sensor??? what do you all think?

Default RE: Strange strange miss after pulling crank sensor and cleaning it

No experience with this problem, just a wild guess. Do you have programmable locks? On my 97 GM car, I can program the locks in various ways (eg, auto lock when in Drive, etc). Perhaps a static discharge from the sensor to the computer … hmm, the sensor likely goes to the PCM and the locks would be the BCM.

Sorry, not much help
