Default Traction Control Troubles

First snowfall up here, and the traction control locks up, power to engine reduced, and all kinds of problems running. "Service Traction control" Seems to come and go. Engine service light stays on, traction light comes on and, of course, when at the shop...runs beautifully.
Any thoughts on what is going on? The mechanic has no idea what to do.
Thanks

Hi Donnie
It sounds like one of your Traction Control Wheel Modules has gone faulty.
It's sending a signal to your ECM telling it your truck one wheel is spinning or locking up.
BTW your mechanic/ tech should get a upgraded scanner. A new scanner will tell him which wheel has the faulty mod.
