I'm changing my water pump on my '99 2500 5.7and I can't get the fan "arm?" off of the water pump. I fought with the bolts to get the pully off of the pump which was wrong,then back on to get the belt to hold it, THEN fought with the fan blade bolts to get them off which was also unnecassary, so then back on. Ugh. Help, I can't think of any more cuss words.

 

it spins off...put the belt back on...you may need to rent a tool to do it,or maybe just striking it to your left with a punch and BFH ...i use a pneumatic air punch to break em loose
