Default Where is the orifice tube?

I have a 1992 Chevy k1500 5.7L. Can't find the orifice tube. I've done research and get conflicting answers. Some sites say it is located at the condensor while others state it is located at the evaporator.

Before I start disconnecting lines, I'd like to have an idea where to look.

It should be in the lower line of the condenser.

Opened the line. Nothing there. Put one in it.

I have almost all the time seen them inline with the evaporator.
