Won’t start
I have a 1999 Chevy Express van with a 5.7L. Original problem the van killed while driving. ECM was changed less than a year ago. Scanner would not communicate with it. Pulled ecm and shipped it back and they said it was receiving 18v to it and the most it could take was 17v. They replaced it because it was burned. Started looking for a problem and found the ecm1 fuse was blown and would blow immediately when the key was turned on. Found the problem, #6 injector wire was nicked and touching metal causing the fuse to blow. Repaired it and reinstalled everything and did the relearn for the key. Van will start and die after a few seconds. Did relearn at least 6 times it still the same. Disconnected battery for one hour, charged battery and did relearn but still the same, starts and dies. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.
