I couple of months ago I made a post about getting a vintage truck. I haven’t got around to purchasing one yet, and needs have changed slightly since last post. My current situation is, I have a used boat “dealership” in a community between two lakes. I really do not want to put a lot of miles on my new truck to tow these boats to one of the two lakes for people to test ride. I need a vintage truck with the following specifications.
Between the years 65-85 available from the factory with a v8, 3-4 speed on the floor, and 4x4. I know it will probably be mid 70s in years at least to find all of these in an affordable price range. I want it to have a sweet vintage look, that I can identify with a lot of the vintage boats I get in. It needs to be something strong enough to tow boats, usually bass boats, or ski boats, but pontoons come up pretty regularly too. What would be my best option? There are several trucks I love in that time span, so I’m not sure what appeals he most to me. Thanks!
