Hey folks, I've got a 1999 ram 1500 4x4 with only 23,000 mi. on it.</P>


Over the past few months I've noticed a rear differential hum that</P>


is gradually getting worse. At first I thought it might be tire noise,</P>


but my local mechanic says rear. Anyone out there have or had this</P>


problem? My mechanic indicated that there are problems with these</P>


differentials. I would appreciate any input. I'm pretty sure my drive</P>


train warranty will cove this, but I like to be armed with some info.</P>

have you checked the recalls for your truck
because i have heard this problem before a lot
