Default 86 electrical problem...

i have an 86 f-150 with a dumb problem.. My taillight socket was bad, causing my signal lights not to work, due to the fact that there is a ground wire going into the socket. I replaced it. Now, the bulb acts as if it isnt in there all the way. If i take the taillight off, take out the bulb and push down on it, everything will work. but as soon as i take pressure off of it, only my taillights would work. A little help please

Try to check on loose wiring...
This may have cause your problem...
Or you can also check if the bulb is still fine...
