Default Need new oil pan

I recently purchased a 1993 Ford F250 and it's in the shop just getting some things done. I was leaking oil and my mech advised me the oil pan is rusted out in several areas like a cancer type. He can't seem to find the oil panb at any yard. Is this a common problem and do you know when I can order the pan from? This is the 5.8 gas motor and dipstick goes into the head whatever that means.

Oil pans are a fairly common problem on f-series. To buy more time you can epoxy the pans sometimes. To replace it is not easy and the motor needs to come out

Default oil pan

HI I have a 90 f250 with a 5L I had to do oil pan on it. You should be able to get one from any parts store, but its not a nice job I ended up taking motor out to change it.

Your best bet to find a replacement will be on line. I did a search just now and found 3 from diffrent sites range in price from 149.99 to 259.99
