Question Remove a few leaf springs to get better ride??

I have a 1978 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 with a suspension lift kit. I was wondering if I could remove a few springs from the front to give me a better ride??? The truck sits about 4" higher in the front than the back. Which springs should I Remove ...there are I think 5 or 6 springs in the front pack.??>??
