I have narrowed it down to the Volant Cold w/ the ram air tube or a Vararam ram air, any opinions?

 

K&N cold air intake...but thats just me

 

At least LOOK at the intake made by S&B. Cheap, more power, better filtering and looks good.

 

I used both kinds before. Here is what I found.

Volant with the ram air tube:

* good airflow
* fits stock hood well
* easier install

Vararam ram air:

* pulls more air at speed
* needs more space and clearances
* harder to install

If I were you, I’d pick based on how you drive. If you drive fast or want max air, go Vararam. If you want simple setup and good flow, go Volant.
