Looking at buying a 4x4 truck. !-2003 Ford 4.6 v 150k miles. 1-2007 Dodge Ram 4x4 150k Hemi. My thoughts were the 2007 was probably road miles. The 2003 Ford miles sound about right. The Dodge was REPO, 2 People going thru a divorce. They did not want to give it back but had to for financial reasons. Both look great inside and out. Have not driven either but been looking for 6 months and both came up same week.

I plan on taking both to a mechanic to have checked over. What should I have on my list to check and anyone got any advice? Please help going over to look Saturday morning.

If both trucks seem equal to you, let the price dictate......Of course, the 03 should go cheaper, being older.

Me, I bought an older truck, a 97. Paid about as much as a 2000-2002 goes for...it was mint and I like the style better....to each their own
