New Truck Idea
Hi everyone, I'm curious to know if kei trucks can be dependable enough to serve as my primary work vehicle. As a landscaper, having a truck bed is essential, but I find American trucks to be prohibitively expensive. Although I've heard that kei trucks are trustworthy, I'm concerned about the potential for breakdowns and the time-consuming process of troubleshooting.
Do you think it's a practical option or am I taking a risk with a 25+ year old truck? Also I have narrowed down my options for my potential truck purchase from this article . Can you guys suggest me the best pick for me among those 5 vehicles?

Kei trucks can be useful, but they do have their limitations. They are small and not made for heavy duty. Parts may be hard to find, and repairs may not be quick.
If you need a work truck that will be reliable, a Ford truck is the way to go. They cost more upfront, but they last longer and can handle a heavy workload.
