Here is some of the things im working on up here
These are the motors ive been building they weigh about about 265,000 pounds each and they are 93% efficient. That means that they put back 93% of the power it takes to run them back into the mill

And here is what they run they are called mill stands.

Here is one of the overhead cranes I helped put together.

this one is of the duck work I didnt have any part of LOL!!

As cool as it all is, I'm probably too clumsy to work in an environment like that. I'd slip and fall through the rafters from the top of the building on the first day of work and that would be the end of it all, LOL!
I set those overhead crane pieces and built a trolly that rides back and forth between them. And that big *** duct is big enough to drive a truck thew. Most of the time todays ironworker's dont even get out of the man basket. I still walk iron when I can. I started out as an ironworker but seen the millwrights just kind of working at their own pace and safely. So I said thats what I want to do plus now I make a butt load more money!
More power to ya bro. I can barely walk down a sidewalk ina straight line, let alone a metal rafter,LOL!!! Good thing there keeping most guys in a basket now though. I know from watching guys around here build condos on the beach it's just not something I could do. I see guys building these big 2-3 story houses and just walking along wooden rafters and wall frames all day..... not me. Guess that's why the Lord put such a strong interest in cars in me. Ground bound baby!
