RE: what else can i do 2 my chevy with out supercharge
throttle body bypass...granatelli mass air flow sensor (new, not used)...low ohm plug wires...and one mo
re question...
what is your terminal gear and rpm in the quarter? If you are maximizing your rpm range and power, you should go through the traps in third gear, at around 5300 rpm. I'll bet you may not even be getting out of second. If not, a shorter rear tire set will give you a net lower gear.
For example, a 255/65/16 or 235/70/16 are both about 1.4 inches shorter than a stock 245/75/16. This would change the theoretic rear ratio from 3.73 to around 4.1, I believe. It might be worth a try. Finally, if you have upsized your tires, as many people do, going to a shorter-than-stock tire could make a real difference in your launch, and terminal rpm.

I agree with the other guys, throttle body bypass, MAF sensor, headers, 3" cat back... The only things I would add would be to descreen the MAF (stock and or Granatelli) a good cold air intake I have had great luck with K&N, and get your PCM custom tuned, I know you already have the Hypertech but this will give you much more noticable gains and will be written for the mods you have and what you want to use the truck for. The handhelds have to make everbody happy so they go in the middle, a custom tune will set you up for what YOU want and also get rid of Torque Management which really hurts you at WOT.
As for the warranty, they have to prove that the mods you have done caused whatever problem you may have. So intake and exhaust changes are safe and as for the PCM they cannont tell you have done anything to it, the only way they will know is if you tell them. I cannot vouch for all programers out there but our tunes are dyno tested and mileage proven safe.
