I went to the Chevy dealer today to have the theft lock "unlocked" on my 97 Z71 Silverado. Well I just had to stop and see the new ones. Now that my old 97 is getting a little older, I was thinking of giving it to my son. He's going upstate NY for school.

The question is if I was to seriously look at a new truck be it Ford, Chevy, or Dodge what would give me a great truck for the buck?

I do plow about 3 driveways in the winter. I never towed with the 97 but would be looking to jump up to a 2500/ F-250 or Dodges equal justbecause I maypurchase a trailer to tow an old car I have (about four times a year at most).

I would be looking at a gas engine for whatever I get.

The subject has been beaten to death but I have to ask....(WHAT WOULD YOU GET).
