I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 5.3 ls 4x4, how can you tell if and when you change from power of 8 cyl shifts to 4 cylinder.

 

On my truck (13) There is a screen that shows instantaneous fuel economy and then says V8 or V4. I watched this for awhile on a long trip and didn't use cruise control. I started to feel the slight bump in the pedal when it kicked on or off and now I feel it every time.

I don't know how the new trucks screens work though

 

ok well you mean it actually shows if 8 or 4 when the fuel economy window is indicating
ltr/100 km. I have not seen that on mine.
