My bud has a 95 also he had the same prob. he thought it was the bearings also. One day I road with him to lunch and I said sounds like your u joint is going and he said no its a bearing. He changed all 4 then the u joint. I just smiled at him. Im not saying thats your prob. but it worth a shot pretty cheap to.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will take a look at the U Joint before anything else.

It could also be your gears in the diff? Just check your u joints if they are good? Make sure there is no metal on metal. The u joints make odd sounds. Mine whistled when they went bad and had metal on metal. If its the ujoint make sure you get the ujoint that is regreasable.

You have 2 or3 different ones, I can't remember exactly. I just took them all off and drove another vehicle to the store to get em matched up. And make sure you replace all 4, just replacing 1 or 2 would be like changing 1 or 2 brake pads if you get what I mean. Also you will need to get a c-clamp type tool to remove them, and snap clip pliers. The frustrating part is fitting the new bearing caps in the drive shaft, and getting those little clips out. Hope that solves the problem. good luck!

It is either the U-Joints or low fluid in the rear diff.
