Default descreened MAF

i just cleaned and descreened my MAF sensor.
what exacltly are the benifits from descreening it? just a little better throttle response?

im also thinking of going with a tune from nelson performance, where exactly is the pcm located, near the obd plug?

thanks

Basically the only thing I noticed from descreening the MAF was a tiny bit more top end. Not much but it's free so might as well.

As for the ECM, I think it's under the hood on our trucks. I wanna say it's over on the passenger side but I'm not too sure.

The PCM in my truck is under the fuse box kind of by the battery.
