RE: dual pipes
Nope when i put duals on my 2000 i did not have to reset the computer and as far as i know it does not effect the limit you can pull.As long as you leave the o2 sensors in the same spot and just put in a single in dual out muffler. Thanks

RE: dual pipes
It will actually help you pull better. For best price, single in dual out. If you want more customizable, true duals, from cats back, X-pipe, dual single in/out mufflers, adjustable exhaust valve to constrict flow and help build back pressure for low end torque. Now the second option is expensive, and without the valve it will be a dog off the line, but a rocket once you hit 3000 RPM. but the loss off the line really hurts. I went from a 7.5 sec 0-60 to 11.25 sec without the valves. I am planning on adding them next. I also have temporarily added some reducers to build backpressure till I can get the valves put in. I have been told a custom tune will fix the backpressure issue, just can't afford it yet. So, I would go with first option if you are looking at minor upgrades, and the later if you plan on doing big things like I am. Sorry about the long post, hope this helps.
