I've got an 03 silverado with a scratch in the door & I was wondering if the duplicolor scratch fix kit is worth a crap. I don't want to spend too much money at a bodyshop so i thought I would try this. It's only a work truck but I like to keep it looking halfways presentable. Has anybody ever used this stuff. I'm not sure If i should follow all the steps (sand,paint,clear,sand,polish) or just go over the scratch with the paint pen. I hate looking at that scratch but I don't want to risk making it look worse than it already is.

ive used it on my truck...from about 10 feet away + it looks great, closer than that if your looking for it you can tell, but at the same time, it looks a helluva lot better than the scratch it hadoriginally

Thanks for the help, since it's gonna be a 4 day weekend I thought I might pull the pickup into the garage and give this stuff a shot. Hopefully I'll have some results by monday.
