O.K. So you are probably gonna want to get the intake or exhaust for him since everything else will be rather expensive. K&N intake is a good brand http://www.knfilters.com/kits.htmhere is there website. However you will need to know the engine size 4.8, 5.3 etc... As for the exhaust I would go with a flowmaster muffler 40 series http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/...If you go to http://summitracing.com/you can find these parts to order them. Another good website to go to would be http://www.stylinconcepts.com/Default.aspx there you can narrow your searches by putting in the truck information in the select your vehicle column. They also have grills and lift kits also. Hope this helps if you need anything else let me know.

Also you might just take his truck to a local muffler shop i find it is cheaper to just take it to them to get the flowmaster muffler 40 series done. Last i checked it was about $250 where i live. Just another idea. Still his truck and then when you give it back it will sound a hell of alot better. Might check were he wants the exhaust to exit the truck out. I.E. the back or side ect. Hope this helps to.

RE: How to fix up a Chevy?
hunt4game29 is right about the muffler shop. it only cost me $275for a true dual exhaust (in case you dont know thats when theres no Y-pipe that connects each ofthe headers into 1 pipe, but rather they are completly split. ask your BF if he rather have something like this with the flowmaster 40's. also ask the muffler shops if they can do this because it is a rather tight fit. but if its gonna cost alot more than what you expect you can always go for a cheaper 1 into 2 muffler (one intake and 2 exhaust). either way you cant go wrong.. good luck
