I recently purchased a 2001, 1500, standard, extra cab. I'd like to add a factory overhead console. Is this model prewired for that console? Will any Chevy console fit? Replacing the non-folding middle of the bench would be nice too. Any problems with compatability if I locate a used folding seat? My biggest mechanical concern is a vibration I feel in the steering wheel and gas petal when I accelerate slightly from a low constant speed. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help. This truck replace the first truck I ever had, a 1990 Cheyenne that had 246,000 on the original motor and was still running strong!
