GMC Sierra & Commercial Dealer, here to answer any questions I can
Good GMC is in Wyoming, Michigan, right next to Grand Rapids. Or, if you were referring to me, I'm right here! And as of right now, no, GM isn't going to put a diesel in the 1500s. If I hear anything I will definitely post it here first!
I was also curious, from a consumer's perspective, how do you feel about the Sierra in relation to the Silverado? Advantages? Disadvantages? Similarities? I really appreciate your feedback!
I'm an old GMC guy...(I've been at this gmc store 20 years)...
We are now chevy as well.....
I think the gmt900's look better chevrolet though....Gmc may be just a tad too gawdy

Well I'm not upset, I agree. [sm=exactly.gif]There are a good amount of differences between the two vehicles besides looks, and I was just wondering how many of those were noticed by your average joe, or if he mostly focused on the aesthetics.
I appreciate your comments![sm=smiley20.gif]

Well you might not notice them working at a car wash, most of the differences are found on the interior and in the perks. Such as the higher quality cloth/leather and carpeting found in the GMC, leading to higher durability as well as residual value, and GMC's (imho) better option packages. There are also some pretty cool programs that come with GMC, like the ability to get free road maps, and insurance that makes it so that if your truck breaks down on a trip more than 150 miles from home, GMC will pay for food and lodging. And then there's always the grill and badges. Geez you made me sound like a salesman with that question.[sm=bangbang.gif]
