I was debating on whether or not i want to add these to my truck as they are "Not a factory accessory", so it means i will have to take them off once a year for inspection. I would paint them to match my truck. I think they would LQQK CQQL. Thanx, Jim

Do you have to take a bunch of stuff off for inspection, or just light covers?

The guys that "inspect" my truck dont care whatsoever. wether it has a muffler or not. give them money, and you get your sticker. gotta like that.

 

Thats kinda wierd you have to take off light covers for inspection. Maybe not though, I don't have to worry about them so. They are cool though.

 

Hey rxsteven, I found them @ stylintrucks.com, $39.99. I agree with you guys on "WHY" would they affect me getting an inspection sticker but.... They are not considered a factory accessory. I also have GTS tinted headlight covers and i have to remove them before i inspect it as well. My birth month is April (Inspection month), so its not a big deal, i'll just put them on after inspection, and i'll probably take them off for the winter months anyways. They install with 2 sided 3M tape. But i'm gonna have them painted the same color as my truck (WA805K) Dark Spiral Gray Metallic. A friend of mine has his own body shop just down the road, and he painted my hood scoops, so he may have enuf left to do the taillight covers. Thanx Guys, Jim

But i have seen those on, they definatly look better painted. i had the completely smoked ones on my last blazer.
