hi everyone i am new to this forum and i looking for some help. i got a 1987 gmc jimmy with a tbi 350 that i just pulled because i spun a main bearing in it. i am replacing that with a gm 350 that is for the year range 1969 threw 1979. its a 010 block. i already put it in and got some stuff hooked up, but i know im missing something major. i dont have any power to the cab unless i turn the key all the way and i get a little brake lite in the dash. could somebody tell me the major electrical things to hook up, wiring harness etc. it would help me out alot and i would be super apprieciative.

OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD,SOUNDS LIKE A GROUNDING PROBLEM.
THER SHOULD BE A GROUNDING STRAP FROM THE BACK OF THE
MOTOR TO THE FIRE WALL.
