Default Icrease Performance

I just bought an 07 classic body style silverado. I love it, but it only has the 4.3 liter engine which i realized i want more power. I dont know much anout engines but i got a magnaflow dual exhaust put on and i wanted to know what else i could do to increase horsepower?

Tune, headers, air intake, underdrive pulley, nitrous, turbo, supercharge...depends what you want to spend.

I would have to agree with the intake for more horsepower with minimal cost.

Electronic tuning products or programmers can also increase performance as well as fuel mileage.

In my Dad's gas station/garage he used to have a sign that said "Speed costs moneyhow fast do you want to go?" For a beginner budget the best bang you'll get for your buck is a tuner or tuned PCM. If you have more money the most power for the buck is nitrous, a supercharger or a turbocharger. "Cold air" intakes and cat-back exhausts will get you lots of neat sounds but aren't a great deal in terms of horsepower/dollar spent.
