Default Instaling after market CD player

Hey guys
I am currently trying to wire in a New CD player.
I am uncertain as to which wires are for power, and which are for the speakers.
I pulled the stock radio apart and found that the wires are all welded to the computer chip inside, so i don't believe i can get an adapter for it
If anyone happens to have a wire diagram could they please post it.
Any help at all would be welcomed
Also, there didn't seem to be enough wires for 4 speakers with ground and power wires, so are the speakers ground to the frame where they're mounted?
thanks again

Crutchfield is your friend! There most certainly is an adapter between aftermarket head unit and your truck. Check out Crutchfield.com, or give them a call. Their customer service is superb.

Red is 12+. Black is -. Yellow or orange is constant 12+. Speaker wires are probably white, gray, purple, green. Those are the main ones. The yellow or orange from the deck needs to go to constant 12+ to keep memory.

If you read his question again, he said he DOES NOT think he will need an adapter. He is just wanting to know which wires are what.

Default CD player

hey guys, I checked out the crutchfield web site, and they didn't have an addapter for a silverado or scottsdale.\

I went and pulled off the wireing harnesses from the radio and Casset player

The radio wire colors are:
white
Orange
Red
Yellow
Brown
Black

The Casset player wire colors are:
Blue/Black
Black
Grey
Black
Orange
Black,Red, and white wrapped in a black cover
Brown

If anyone can tell me what wire is what each of these wires does it would be very helpful and very much appreciated

I did go to Canadian tire and picked up a E2 adapter for 88-05 GM/chevy, but it doesn't match up with what my truck has

Default bypass

ok, i decided to say screw it and just bypass the plugs, so i just ran wires to my fuse box for power, but i'm not not sure where to find the speaker wires, if anyone could help with that, and also with the colors, the wire colors are listed above
