I have an '05 silverado Z71 extended cab and I want to get a 6" suspension lift and about 35" on/off road tires. Before I do, I want to make sure my drive train and such will handle the lift and tires. Any suggestions?

 

i would think that for that lift, you may have to reangle your differential...what else are you concerned about?

 

I just want to make sure my truck can handle the lift and possibly get some tips for what to look for in a good suspension lift.

 

Your truck will be fine with a 6" lift. I would think about lower gears later on to compensate for the tire change. Look in to Pro Comp because their lifts keep the factory trac width and in my opinion look better.
