needing help with my v6 swap to v8 in my c1500

There are plenty of electric fans out there with all the necessary hardware and wiring. It will probably save a little on gas mileage, but my concern is the reliability and the cost vs. gas savings. You know a belt driven one will work as long as the clutch is working. I would personally keep the stock fan and spend the money making sure the truck is tuned properly. Driving habits (ease up on the gas a little) is about the best thing you can do AND it's free. I see way too many people adding aftermarket crap on their vehicles when they are in need of other maintenance items. Fact of the matter - a V-8 heavy truck is never going to be GOOD on gas. Drive it like you have some sense and keep it maintained.

yea i realy dont have bad driving habits and im very **** about my maintence on my vehicals i do all my oil changes every 3000 miles witch takesd a while with me i only drive 16 miles a day as it is every once in a while 25 miles my dad owns a shop and tough me well on how to treat my vehicals anyother helpful advice for me on the engine or anything u would recammend changing to help its a tbi so if i did my homework right i shouldnt have to extend anything exept mabe my gas lines im not to sure on those
