It was sarcasm. I will specify in the future.
As long as there are no visible defects to the oil pan and the motor isn't running like the #6 piston is sitting at the bottom of the pan, put 5 quarts in and sleep easy.
The filter does fit and more oil means a cleaner and slightly cooler engine.
