went to the local auto parts store baught my tbi gasket and exsaust manifold gaskets later im gonna be puttin them on after the engine cools down so i wont burn myself
and also i am hoeping i dont break a bolt for the manifolds as my parts stor will be closeing at 5pm today
if i do o well i can wait till tomorrow
also baught some silicone gasket maker so i can fix some of my vacum leaks my buddys dad found the other day that i missed
i hope it works
and then next week im ordering rocker panels and cab corners from lmc and then gonna have them put on so it is looking better
pictures to follow after i start replaceing the gaskets
i will try to do step by step so as new truck owners and green thumbs can follow along

I have been slacking on reporting what I have been doing lately (and I started this thread) shame on me. Anyway in the last few weeks I have installed new towing mirrors, tinted the windows, installed a bumper valance, and replaced the door speakers in my dually and replaced the washer bottle and intermediate shaft on the wife's Tahoe.

Here is the dually. The mirrors made a HUGE difference!

I got the mirror lights wired up to work as running and turn signals (looks great at night)...

Thanks man, yeah it has been an SC truck since new so there isn't any rust thankfully!

lol i have a question i have heard of two ways to redo my cab corners and rockers
one being have them welded
and the other way some one suggested to use body glue
i dont think that is a good idea but have you ever heard of or seen that done and if so how long did it last and how did it look

i replaced my tbi gasket and runs and drives great in drive not overdrive
idles great dont die out on me anymore
but it still shifts stupid in overdrive so im thinkin overdrive is going out

Fixed the tube on the frame thats the top of your suspension hooks up to ( it snapped off)
re welded new tips on
and drove it around for fun
