Default Warning lights!

I now have a problem on my 2010 K1500 Chev. truck. When I turn on the ignition the dash lights up, blinks off and then lights up with the warning that parking brake is on (Brake!) and the ABS light comes on. The parking brake is not on (and metal strip that makes contact does not touch the pedal). I put parking brake on and then off. Light stays on. I checked the ABS fuses under hood, and they seem fine. Have no idea while the ABS light stays on. I tried putting in 4 wheel, in 2 wheel, auto, 4 low. Lights stay on. Any ideas? Please not computer problem!!

It may be that your one of ABS sensors is dirty. Or, it could be that one of your front hub bearings is wearing out. I know either of those will cause the ABS light to stay on, but not sure about the brake light.

Have it scanned. A good scan tool will tell you which is the troubled hub.

Yeah, have the codes pulled. It's gonna be something related to the ABS module ... unfortunately a hub bearing isn't going to make your red (!) brake warning light come on too. That's just the ABS light, so I'm guessing maybe something related to the ABS module its self.

No way to tell until you have the codes.
