Thats funny, it really does look like a Nissan Titan. I didnt know that they put the 6.0 in 06...I seen the Car & Driver special on tv. They did alot of work on the 4x4

 

I dont really like the front ends either. 4Wheel @ Offroad mag. tested onefor the truck of the year award with a 5.3L in said it was under powered and the front end did hit everything when they had it off road. They had the GMC there to with the 6.0L and they loved the power in that truck. Chevy needs to make a truck that actually has some ground clearance for us guys that do get off the beaten path. Cause all that Z71 package does for you is skidplates and better shocks, but otherwise it sits the same. A rear locker would be nice too.

 

Too bad to hear so many of you guys don't like the new front end. I seem to find myself liking the new truck. Not everything, and I lean to the GMC more than the chevy, but over all I thinks it's a pretty good looking truck.

 

sc64chevy - I have a locker in the rear of my 05'. And I do like the power I had even stock. I think it would have been much better with 4.10 gears instead of 3.42 though. The 6.0 would have kicked ***, but I am still happy, and the gas milage is great.

Smoke20 i know where your coming from with the mileage, i wish my truck did get better mileage, but you have to give up something to for good towing power. As far as the locker my truck has the gov lok limited slip, but i do like to off road now and then and id like to see a fully selectable locker so you can engage it when you need it and know that both are workin.
