What should I look for in a '04-07 1500?

I'm actually looking at a '99 Silverado 1500 with 80K that's a pretty good advertised price. The pics of it show all sides & it's all stock with only 1 previous owner. That's the first one I'll be looking at so we'll see how the frame, body, tranny, motor & how it drives. Could be a good buy but we'll see.

They're asking 7K for it. A bit high but we'll see what it looks like & how it drives & then talk price.

you can always talk someone down
the guy wanted 5500 for the truck i wanted and i was able to talk him down to 3500 just because i had cash i noticed a few problems and i was ready to buy on the spot

That's what I'm hoping for as they'll usually ask for X amount & then take a grand or more off the asking price.
