Question Why?

Not intending to complain, but I am curious. Why did the Chevy Silverado section title change to Chevy Silverado/ GMC Sierra Forum? Just curious...

I see you missed the announcement...

Anyways, The Silverado and the Sierra are essentially the same truck and 99.9% of problems or issues that are discussed on this website will work with both models flawlessly. It seems counterproductive to have two separate forums for essentially the SAME truck. All it does is spread all of the information around and makes it harder for it to be found. I have completely deleted all of the GMC forums and the posts have been moved to the new combined forums. So far there have been no complaints and I feel that it helps to better catalog the information and shorten the home page. There have also been a few other minor changes to the site including the new Diesel and How-To forums for each brand and a few deletions/combinations in the Other trucks section.

All in all, the general consensus is that it was a good move.
