Default To Auction or not to Auction??? That is the question..

Greetings folks! Seeking advice on buying at car auctions. I'm looking at an 07 F150 http://easyexport.us/carfinder/vehic...=4c054bdec9d5b looks good aside from the obvious hood and grille which is really no biggie, that could be fixed.. Any folks have any auction experience you'd like to share? All info. would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thanks. If I go that option, I'd definitely bring a tech with me.

Any auction experiences out there?

It's what I do...so yeah I have a little experience. Like already mentioned just check and double check what you looking at. It helps to get there early and spend time checking the ones you are interested in bidding on. As far as online auctions like eBay - if you are buying from an individual than ask A LOT of questions and if the vehicle is close enough go check it out before bidding. The vehicles I have bought that were far away I made sure I was able to fly or drive out to pick it up within the time the seller was asking for the deposit in. That way I am not giving the seller a penny until I have personally looked at it. The ones that require immediate deposit I pass on. If it is not an individual than the only way I would bid is if I checked the vehicle out first. Most online auctions have set hours for vehicle inspections - take advantage of that and if they don't allow it move on and shop elsewhere! Good luck!
