Default New here and need a little help 04 F150

Hey guys Im new here, Just have a few thing I want to check into. so here goes....

First of all I hav a 04 f150 super crew. Has any body replace the right side (passenger)exhaust manifold gaskets them selves. the are a pain in the but. I got five nuts/studs out andthan said screw it and could only get 3 of them back in. what are the tricks to these gaskets? My next thing is the motor as a bad lag from a stop some times and somtimes whenI kick it down. Is this the TPS or some thing with the electonic throtle? it has the adjustable foot controls so I'm asumeing its electronic.Othe than these couple things I love my truck, but I would like to find a way to re program the computer to get some better tourqe and shift points for pulling my inclosed trailer. Any body have any good info on some hop ups for this truck.

I also have a 04 Explore that we just bought with the auto 4wd I've heard that this truck needs to have matching rubber all the way around. after we bought it we realized it didn't. and I think this would explain some of the clunking from the front axle.

thanks guys
