I need help. My wofe was diving my truck and it started missing, hesitating and knocking, while driving and at a stop. Check engine light came on, put the computer to it and it read po306 misfire on cylinder 6. Changed all the plugs. Check engine light went off, but it still hesitates wend taking off from a stop. sitts at idle with no problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Hello po306 cylinder misfire need to know what year and engine. NOTE; If truck has a coil on top of plug look at he boot to see if there is any cracks or trail marks if so the boot can be replaced you don't have to replace the whole coil. If truck has a plug wire check wire resistance or give it the NIGHT TIME TEST ( I LOVE THIS ONE SPRAY A MIST OF WATER FROM A SPRAY BOTTLE ALLAROUND THE PLUG WIRES) put truck in gear hold the brakes turn off all the light's and put it under a load yoy will think Frankinstein is trying to come alive
