2000 silverado exhaust, turn down after muffler???
Is there any reason I should not out turn down tips right after my muffler. Recently one of the outlet pipes broke off the muffler and took the second outlet cupler with it. I think I need a new muffler and turn downs or an entire new cat back....ideas, thoughts I would appreciate it.

You are going to hear a good bit of reverberation in the cab. It sounds good, much deeper and throatier sound than having pipes out the back, but it will get annoying after awhile.
As far as performance goes, you might see a small increase in throttle response with the better open air flow, and not as much back pressure. But the trade off is, the engine is going to suck more gas, so that will cut down on your MPG.
