looking for some info

No that isn't correct. If you turn the key on engine off it should go up to around 60 and not drop more than approximately 5 PSI in 5 minutes. This is just a rule of thumb so if it drops a little more I wouldn't worry, but down to zero isn't right. Is this when trying to start it or just with the key on. It could be bad regulator, pressure valve in the pump, or leaky injectors.

It drops to zero just when the key is on. If I try to start it the pressure jumps back up to 60. I can't seem to find the fuel pressure regulator. Does anyone know where it is located? It is not by the fuel rails at all and I do not see it anywhere else.

Any other ideas as to where it might be? I searched and searched but still cant find it. Is it possible that this truck just doesn't have one and if it doesn't then how is the fuel pressure regulated? Oh man this is really getting ridiculous but I will get it sooner or later. I really appreciate the help on this matter.

Thank you Mr_Shamrock that definitely explains why I couldn't find the regulator. after looking into the fuel pump further i found it is located there but now I am still stumped because I don't know why it wont start. So if you come up with any more thoughts please share them with me. Thank you
